In a country where close to 10 million people are illiterate and 1,137,546 children, teenagers and young people have not received a primary or secondary education (UNESCO), education poses a major challenge.
No Child should be deprived of schooling and access to books. Libraries will not just give children access to books but an environment that instills the love of reading which leads to improved reading, knowledge and life. Help a Child Project took it’s first initiative in Morocco – a book library is setup in a small village primary school to promote education and reading. Various interactive sessions are also conducted with students and children to promote educational awareness.
